A IMPORTÂNCIA DO ENSINO RELIGIOSO PARA OS ANOS INICIAIS DO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL NA REDE MUNICIPAL DE COLATINA-ES: CONTRIBUIÇÕES PARA A FORMAÇÃO INTEGRAL DA CRIANÇA

Abstract

The research analyzes the relevance of Religious Education in the Early Years of Elementary School, based on an analysis of the National Common Curricular Base and the National Curriculum Parameters for Religious Education, on the integral formation of students in the municipal school network of Colatina-ES. In this city, Religious Education is not offered in the Early Years. It seeks to answer the following question: what are the impacts of the absence of school Religious Education for the Early Years of Elementary Education in Colatina-ES, from the perspective of Religious Sciences, for the integral formation of the child? The theoretical framework of the research is built from the humanist perspective and the socio-interactionist approach, according to Lev Vygotsky. The research methodology is bibliographic, documentary and case study, which will be carried out in the school network of the Municipality of Colatina-ES. In its three chapters, the research highlights the relevance of Religious Education on the integral formation of children enrolled in the Early Years of Elementary School, describing their profile and the type of knowledge they can acquire. Then, documentary and scientific references for Religious Education are addressed. Finally, the professional proposal of the research is presented from the suggestion of matrices of teaching plans for the Early Years of Elementary School in Colatina-ES. The absence of Religious Education is a problem that falls deeply on the integral formation of children enrolled in the Early Years of the municipal school network of Colatina-ES, which must be overcome and/or mitigated. The research contributes to facing this problem and seeks to offer a pedagogical proposal for this municipal education network.
