RELIGIOSIDADE E INFÂNCIA: A FORMAÇÃO PARA O DESENVOLVIMENTO INTEGRAL DAS CRIANÇAS NA EDUCAÇÃO INFANTIL

Abstract

The objective of this work is to analyze to what extent the awakening of religiosity in childhood contributes to the formation of the individual, based on diversity at school. The specific objectives are: a) to conceptualize and relate the religious conscience worked on in Early Childhood Education; b) point out alternative approaches to children's religiosity, to encourage respect for diversity at school; c) identify ways to improve the development of religious awareness in Early Childhood Education, in schools in Vila Velha (ES) and Cariacica (ES). The study is justified by the need to inhibit exclusion trends in the school environment and in life. The research reaches the reality of two municipal public schools dedicated to Early Childhood Education, one in the city of Vila Velha (ES) and the other in Cariacica (ES). As for the research problem: is it possible to provide the student body with the formation of their religious awareness in Early Childhood Education, through interaction/coexistence, to promote more diversity in the school environment? Regarding the methodology, a bibliographic study was adopted, combined with field research, to analyze the issue of religiosity and childhood among students of Early Childhood Education. The research universe is composed of twenty teachers and two hundred fathers/mothers of students enrolled in the mentioned schools. The sample represents about ten percent of the number of teachers and ten percent of the number of parents/mothers. Regarding the methodology, a bibliographic study was adopted, combined with field research, to analyze the issue of religiosity and childhood among students of Early Childhood Education. The data survey heard twenty teachers and two hundred parents of students enrolled in the mentioned schools. The semi-structured questionnaire was the collection instrument, consisting of ten questions in the multiple-choice system, distributed among the sample subjects.
