Abstract

Study on the Religious Education discipline in the Political Pedagogical Project (PPP) of the Municipal Elementary Education Unit (UMEF) Professor Nice de Paula Agostini Sobrinho in Vila Velha - ES, with the problem question being: The inclusion of the Religious Education discipline in the PPP of UMEF Professor Nice de Paula Agostini Sobrinho meets what is foreseen in the Curriculum Guidelines of the Municipal Education Network of Vila Velha from the 1st to the 9th year of SEMED? Having as general objective was to analyze the UMEF PPP in the light of the Curriculum Guidelines of the Municipal Education Network of Vila Velha with the purpose of verifying if the PPP configures the curricular contents of the discipline Religious Education as SEMED establishes. For this, the methodological procedures used an exploratory, bibliographic and documentary study, with a qualitative approach. The analysis of the UMEF's PPP was carried out through Bardin's Content Analysis. The first chapter analyzed the process of preparing the UMEF's PPP, identifying the ethical, political, didactic and pedagogical foundations. The second were categories and content indicators based on Bardin's Content Analysis in an attempt to propose the axis of values and the axis of relationships, with the main analysis document being the UMEF PPP for the year 2018. The third chapter, the researcher identified how and to what extent the UMEF PPP can be considered a path for the recognition of identities, alterities and overcoming religious intolerance. The researched UMEF PPP presents Religious Education geared to identities and alteralities in search of religious tolerance, according to municipal guidelines, but it needs to bring the objectives of the Common National Curriculum (BNCC) into the discussion.
