ENSINO RELIGIOSO: HISTÓRIA, PERFIL E FORMAÇÃO DOS/AS PROFESSORES/AS NO MUNICÍPIO DE SERRA/ES

Abstract

It is noticed that the practice of the discipline of Religious Education is very complex and requires of the teacher a specific preparation to face the challenges that this discipline imposes on him. Thus, this dissertation had as objective to analyze the Religious Teaching regarding the training of teachers for this discipline in the Municipality of Serra/ES. The dissertation is divided into three chapters. The first addresses the historical aspect and teacher training as well as Religious Education and cultural diversity. The second chapter presents the legislation of Religious Education, it will be of primary importance to evidence some arguments that base the Religious Teaching using the legal apparatus in force in the Brazilian legislation as well as epistemological model of primordial importance for the development of said discipline in accordance with the LDB and, based on this foundation, establish a dialogue with the legislation regarding the standardization of the Religious Teaching discipline and a link with Religious Education and Religious Sciences. In the third chapter is presented the field research, developed in the municipality researched at the end of 2017 and beginning of 2018. The methodology used privilege the qualitative research in connection with the quantitative. In addition to the bibliographic research, a questionnaire was applied to 20 ER teachers who teach in the municipality. The aim of this dissertation was to the intricacies related to the training of teachers and how each of the interviewers see the daily relationship teaching the discipline in the schools of the municipality of Serra/ES.
