PROFESSOR QUE PASTOREIA: O PROFESSOR DE EDUCAÇÃO RELIGIOSA ESCOLAR EM INTERFACE ÀS DEMAIS ÁREAS DO ENSINO NA VISÃO DA FILOSOFIA EDUCACIONAL ADVENTISTA

Abstract

The religion has been a collaborator in the process of constructing the subjectivity of the subject within the culture in which it is inserted. The religious phenomenon, observed by the Science of Religion, has left marks on the individual for the ability to influence him in the construction of world knowledge and for being a partner of scientific knowledge. If, on the one hand, religion presents itself as the holder of absolute truth and if, in essence, it is only a myth, on the other hand it is undeniable to affirm that it has contributed to the construction of the human being. The human race, always in the process of evolution, feels the need to respond to the concerns that come to them as a result of their social life and with it, the ontological questions. The school is the connecting agent between the human being and science and thinking scientifically must be the tool that transforms it for the better. It is in this context that the figure of the teacher of Religious Education that his / her performance in the public school aims to study the phenomenon of religiosity respecting the right of freedom of expression and worship of each student. In private school, specifically in Adventist Education, the proposal differs by offering Religious Education by declaring itself a confessional school. In this case, the Religious Education teacher usually acts as an agent to defend the creed and faith that the school represents. The research is descriptive and seeks to reveal the role of the Religious Education teacher in the Adventist Educational Network, the origin of the school researched, its philosophy of teaching in interface with the other disciplines, the contents studied in the discipline, the constitutional support for its existence and its contribution to the formation of the citizen.
