O ENSINO RELIGIOSO NA PROVÍNCIA MARISTA BRASIL CENTRO-NORTE À LUZ DO COMPONENTE CURRICULAR DO ENSINO RELIGIOSO PARA O BRASIL MARISTA

Abstract

The aim of this dissertation is to reflect on religious education at Província Marista Brasil Centro-Norte - PMBCN on the light of the religious education curricular component for Brasil Marista. The religious Education at the PMBCN as area of knowledge, is in the emancipation process. Thus, we emphasize that the discipline of Religious Education, though offered in a Catholic school with a Marista tradition, belongs to the area of human sciences and its technologies, not being from catechetical, theological and / or proselytizing nature. This pastoral pedagogical option has given food for thought. This dissertation is divided into four parts: the first one, places the reader in the contemporary brands as well as in the current context of Religious Education in Brazil. The second part presents the Curricular Component of Religious Education for Brasil Marista, reaffirming the religious education as an area of knowledge, which has as objects of study the religious phenomena and religiosity. In the third part will be addressed the relationship of the religious education with the catholic evangelization, convergences and divergences from the ambience of the educational and the social units at the PMBCN. The last part will present the research results at Colégio Marista Nossa Senhora da Penha, which aim was to analyze the comprehension of the respondents about the religious education and the relationship they made with the Catholic Evangelization. Some forwards will be indicated and will contribute to the emancipation of religious education at the PMBCN.
